Ruth Shumway

Aleen Ruth Shumway, age 80, passed away August 13, 2011 in Sun City West, AZ. She was born July 10, 1931 in Phoenix, Arizona to Jesse Ervin Fleming and Fern Price Fleming. She is survived by her husband Van L Shumway of Wickenburg, Children: Van Shumway, Jr. (Vanessa) of Provo, UT., Cheryl Underwood (Mike) of Gilbert, AZ., Kevin Shumway (Valarie) of Wickenburg, Daryl Shumway (Cecile) of Phoenix, Tim Shumway (Stephanie) of Sandy, UT., Dana Shumway (Jenny) of Mesa, Az., sisters Melba Davis (Dean) of Peoria, AZ., Shirley Parker of Peoria, Az., sisters in law Anna Jean Fleming of Surprise and Roberta Carlisle of Washington, 31 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Irvan Fleming, Robert Fleming and Bill Carlile, Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19th at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Agua Fria Ward at 8702 W. Campbell in Phoenix, AZ 85037 Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 10:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to services also at the Church. Interment will follow that day in the Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
