On December 10, 2010 Sally Weisel was called home to God. Sally lived a wonderful life highlighted by her family; her husband Ted Weisel Sr.; son Ted Weisel, Jr.; daughter and partner Charlotte Weisel and Bill O'Kelly; granddaughter Aubrey Weisel; two grandsons Joseph Weisel and John O'Kelly, and two step-granddaughters Kaelin and Emily O'Kelly. Sally and her husband, Ted Weisel, Sr.retired to Wickenburg, Arizona in 1989. In Wickenburg, Sally made many friends and followed an active lifestyle: -Desert Caballeros Western Museum-where Sally was an active volunteer for over 20 years. -St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church-Sally was a minister of Holy Communion, member of the women's guild and active in the Right to Life Organization. -Member of Red Hat Society and Friday Lunch Bunch. In her "later years" Sally decided to try outdoor adventures: - Parasailing in Hawaii - Tubing in Tahoe - Hot Air Ballooning in the Napa Valley Her motto was "Age is just a number and attitude is everything"!! Sally was most passionate about her family and friends. In good times and or bad, Sally was there to support you, love you and most importantly listen when you needed to talk or have a shoulder to cry on. She will be most remembered for her energy and enthusiasm for every-day life. We will miss the sparkle in her beautiful blue eyes and her big smile when she held her children, grandchildren or the hand of a friend. Sally is survived by her son Ted Weisel, Jr.; her daughter Charlotte Weisel; and three grandchildren; loving in-laws on the Weisel side of the family and numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was predeceased by her husband - Ted Weisel Sr.;parents - Harry and Margaret Ward; brother - Harry Ward Sr.; sister - Peggy Schoppe; God Bless you Mom. We will miss you very much.
