Scott Schlieker

Scott Eric Schlieker 50, left us on September 22, 2021. He was born to Ronald Schlieker and Linda Schlieker Kubler. Scott joined the family two years after his big sister Ronda.



He lived in Wickenburg all of his life. Growing up he and his friends were known as the Oxbow boys. He attended Mclennan Elementary School followed by Vulture Peak Middle School and graduated from Wickenburg High School in 1989.



He played football and other sports. He loved riding his dirt bike and spending time at the dunes with his friends. Up until the time of his death he loved taking excursions in his Polaris with his friends in our beautiful Arizona Desert.



Scott always wanted to be a Marine and joined shortly after High School. He served in the Iraq war as an Embassy Guard in Egypt and also served in Japan. Scott served his country for 4 years.



After returning to Arizona he attended The Culinary Institute in Scottsdale and received his Diploma. He then began driving truck for Knight Trucking, he currently was working for Fed Ex. Scott had been a hard worker all of his life.



Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents Miles and Viola Preston and Russell and Ruby Schlieker and his Dad Ronald Schlieker. He is survived by his mother Linda Kubler, his sister Ronda (Chris) Cunningham, his sons Charles Russell Schlieker, Christian James Schlieker and daughter Cadance Paris Schlieker, Scott's grandchildren Dylan, Christian Jr. and Jaxson. His nieces Emily (Brady) Rich and Ashlee and nephew Hayden. His aunt Bonnie Weber, cousins Melissa (Andy) Brinkman and Shelby (Tim) Holleran, and several other nieces and nephews and his step-mother Patricia Schlieker.



We will miss Scott and his great smile.



Services will be held Saturday October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lazy Fox Rd. and Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ. A Reception and Celebration of Life will be held afterwards with location and details to be announced.
