Steve was born in Black River Falls, WI April 29, 1952 and graduated high school before joining the army to serve in the Viet Nam War. After marriage, he and Linda lived in Seattle, WA, moving back to Wisconsin in a couple years, and most recently, residing in Arizona. He drove long haul truck for years, which he enjoyed. He retired from the Tomah Veterans Hospital as a 32 year employee. He did, however, remain active in various jobs finding it difficult to totally give in to retirement. Being a hard worker, he often worked two jobs and was great help to Linda when she worked on the "fry bread" stand at various festivals in Wisconsin. Flashing his happy smile, no customer ever left that stand without becoming a friend! In later years, he and Linda enjoyed pulling their camper across country and exploring numerous states. In settling down, he found a passion with his friends in riding his ATV vehicle throughout the mountainous area of his home. He always claimed tremendous joy in rounding the curves and admiring the awesome views of Nature! He was a wonderful husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend devoted to his family. He will always be remembered for his hearty laughter, his positive attitude on life, and forever, his sincere kindness and willingness to help others when needed. He was a man who persevered in the most difficult of times and remained unwavering in facing the many adversities of Life. All who knew Steve are grateful for the time they had him here on earth. Angels have taken him to a resting place prepared for him in the Lord's Home. Joyous reunions await him.
