Ted Franklin Dutton, age 75, passed away August 21, 2014 at his home in Morristown, Arizona. Ted was born April 13, 1939 in Foosland, Illinois to Richard and Hattie Dutton. He was raised and attended schools there and later served in the U.S. Marine Corps following his military service he began working with Magnavox as a chemical engineer. In the early 1970's he relocated to Arizona settling in Tempe where he worked with Motorola. Ted later worked as a residential contractor. He moved to Morristown in 1997 and he retired in 2002. Ted was an outdoorsman and enjoyed a challenge. He rode horses participating in cutting and team penning. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed motorcyles and had raced dirtbikes at one time. He also loved deep sea fishing, golfing and photography. Ted is survived by his wife Marilyn of Morristown, sons Chris Dutton of Morristown, Craig (Pam) Dutton of Tuscola, Illinois, and Nicholas Dutton of Richardson, Texas, 2 brothers Richard Dutton and Frank Dutton both of Mahomet, Illinois and 2 sisters LaVerne Lafenhagen of Sidney, Illinois and Joyce Block of Savoy, Illinois and 3 grandchildren: Derrick (Lisa), Joseph & Bruce and 2 great-grandchildren: Dorian & Josephine.
