Thomas Oberle

Thomas E. Oberle, age 72, passed away on April 29, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. Tom was born in Euclid,Ohio to Russell E. Oberle and Rita Murray Oberle Following his schooling he served in the U.S. Airforce, he was stationed in Rome NY and Colorado Springs. He was a Seargent and later served in Vietnam.



Following his military service he worked as an electrician. And was very accomplished at his trade. He spent 5 years at Newmont Mine in Elko NV.



My favorite memory is when he spent time with my German grandmother in Frankfurt and people were astounded that he visited her even though he divorced my mother.



When I was 2-3, I would sit on his lap and we'd watch 321 Contact. I broke his nose a few times by throwing my head back while laughing.



He is survived by his daughter Christina Ciancia of New York. He was loved by all and will be very missed.
