Todd William Allred, age 46, passed away September 20, 2013 after a battle with cancer at his parents home in Morristown, Arizona. Todd was born October 30. 1966 in Eureka California. He was raised in the Fresno area and attended schools there graduating from Clovis High School. He later attended and graduated from Fresno State University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Following his schooling he served an internship at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for Miller News Service. Later Todd worked for various newspapers in California including: the Los Banos Enterprise, the Merced Sun Star, the Fresno Bee and the Stockton Record. He moved to Virginia in 2001 where he worked for Baseball Weekly and later transferred to the parent publication USA TODAY where Todd worked as a Design Editor for the Sports Section for over 6 years. He loved photography and had a love for the outdoors and the San Francisco Giants. Todd also had several photos published in national magazines and designed several special releases for USA TODAY Sports. He operated a blog and website where he shares hundreds of photos as well as much of his life story. He is survived by his parents Bruce and Meg Allred of Morristown and sister Kristen (Mike) Angelovic of Litchfield Park, Arizona and niece and nephew Amanda and John Angelovic as well as aunts Judy (Jerry) Neumann of Grass Valley, CA., Sidney Fry of Sutter Creek, CA., Cathy (Jeff) Henderson of Half Moon Bay, CA., Jackie Hutchings of San Ramon, CA., Mary Schipper of Twain Heart, CA., and several cousins Lisa Schipper-Howey, Damon & Wade Fry and Tami McConnell. There will be a Celebration of Todd's Life in Clovis, CA on October 26, 2013. He was dearly loved by all that knew him.
