Ula Jenkins

Jack Jenkins, age 77, passed away October 2, 2010 at Del Webb Hospital in Sun City West, AZ. He was born August 8, 1933 in Fairmount, Kentucky and raised in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1953 and served overseas in Germany where he met his wife, Lisa. They returned to Jeffersontown following his military service and Jack began working as a truck driver which he did for over 50 years. Jack and Lisa came to Arizona in 1986 and he began working for Apache Pipeline retiring in 1996. They moved to Congress in 2005. Jack was very capable and very mechanically inclined and could build or fix anything. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. Jack was preceded in death by granddaughter Stacey Wills, son in law Daniel Wills and sister in law Peggy Jenkins. He is survived by his wife, Lisa of Congress, daughter Debra Wills of Indiana, brothers Tom Jenkins (Dixie) of Bloomington, Indiana, Virgil Jenkins of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, sister Sue Ferguson (Lewis) of Taylorsville, Kentucky and grandchildren: Christopher and Angie Wills. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6th from 10:00 AM until noon at Wickenburg Funeral Home.
